Academic & Career Planning

Each Monona Grove School District student is unique.  Each student is filled with limitless potential.  Our faculty and staff commit to helping students know themselves, explore their future possibilities, create a plan for their future, and then go achieve their dreams.

Academic and Career Planning, or ACP, is a student-driven, adult-supported process in which students create and cultivate their own unique and information-based visions for post secondary success, obtained through self-exploration, career exploration, and the development of career management and planning skills. The Wisconsin DPI website for ACP contains further information about Academic and Career Planning from the state’s perspective.

Beginning Fall 2017, all school districts in Wisconsin will implement Academic and Career Planning for students in grades 6-12. Although each district’s implementation may be a little different, the goal of ACP work is to support students as they plan for their futures. Please visit the MGHS and the GDS websites for specific school information about ACP or click on the links below.
