Superintendent Search Updates

After more than 30 years in education and over two decades in school and district administration, Monona Grove School District Superintendent Dan Olson has announced his plans to retire at the end of the current school year.

The Monona Grove School District is now engaged in a comprehensive search for the next superintendent. The Board of Education is committed to a superintendent search process that is transparent, inclusive, collaborative, thorough, strategic and forward-thinking, organized and professional. The School Board has selected Hazard Young Attea & Associates (HYA) to spearhead the process.

In its commitment to transparency, inclusivity, and collaboration, the Monona Grove School District will  engage all constituents of the district (students, families, staff, community members and other stakeholders) to share their valuable insights, perspectives, and expectations for the next educational leader. Details will be shared on this page as they become available.

This page will include news and updates related to the search for Monona Grove's next Superintendent and was last updated February 12, 2024.
