Superintendent Announced: Dr. Tanya L. Fredrich

The Monona Grove School Board has selected Dr. Tanya L. Fredrich as the next Superintendent of Monona Grove School District. The School Board unanimously approved Dr. Fredrich's contract on April 19, 2024.

Dr. Fredrich will begin her superintendency in Monona Grove on July 1, 2024. “I am honored to have been selected as the next Superintendent of Monona Grove, and I am eager to begin working with the Board of Education and Leadership team to deliver on the outcomes and expectations set forth by our community in the District’s Strategic Plan,” she said.

Dr. Fredrich currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning for the School District of Elmbrook, and has served as Interim Superintendent for the School District of Elmbrook. She brings a breadth and depth of experience, knowledge, and leadership to Monona Grove. She has previously served as the Director of Special Education and Student Services for the School District of Elmbrook, and Director of the Waukesha County Special Education Cooperative, and has worked as a teacher in the Kettle Moraine School District, as Assistant Director of Special Education at CESA 1 and as a teacher at the Oconomowoc Developmental Training Center.
