Our district provides a high-quality, half-day pre-kindergarten program open to all children who are four years old on or before September 1, 2025. (Please note: early entrance is not available.) Both AM and PM classes are offered at Taylor Prairie School in Cottage Grove and Winnequah School in Monona.

School Registration

Registration for the 2025-26 school year is currently open. While registration is ongoing, registrations received by February 10, 2025 will receive priority placement in the location/section (AM or PM)  of your choice. To register your child, please access the online New Student Registration Application. Completing this application during the registration window ensures your child’s placement in the program.

Early Childhood Education Support (for any child age 2.5+)

If you are concerned about your child's development or your child has a disability and may be eligible for an Early Childhood Program, please complete the Request for Early Intervention Form. If you need assistance completing the form, require the information in a different format, or have additional questions, please contact the Student Services Office at (608) 316-1905.

(If you have concerns about a child who is younger than 2.5, the Birth to 3 Program is a free resource available to your family).
