Technology Services
Welcome to Technology Services
The Monona Grove School District values the role technology and digital learning plays in engaging students and enhancing education. Technology is becoming more prevalent in the world around us and learners (students and staff) need to be proficient in communicating, collaborating, creating and thinking critically through this technology. Through our Strategic Planning Process, MGSD has committed to creating innovative learning environments for students. With equitable access, technology provides an avenue for student choice, student voice, and an opportunity for teachers to provide differentiated service delivery for all learners.
GoGuardian
To support a safe and supportive learning community in an increasingly digital world, our administrators, teachers, and student services teams utilize GoGuardian. GoGuardian is a digital safety platform that helps our district provide a secure online learning environment. It acts as a filter and a "digital lifeguard," ensuring students stay on task and are protected from harmful content. GoGuardian’s web-based services operate when a student is signed in to their school managed account (i.e., when a student is logged into their school email address). Below is a summary of the safety layers we have in place through GoGuardian.
