Summer School

The registration window for Summer School is March 25 at 9am through April 10 at 3pm.

After April 10, students must join the waitlist

Families should request courses for summer programming based on the grade level completed in the 2025-26 school year. For example, if your child is currently in 1st grade at Winnequah, you should register by selecting courses for elementary summer school programming for 1st graders.

All students enrolled in summer school are eligible for regular summer school transportation. As summer school is an optional program without the provision of IEP services, no specialized transportation routes will be available. This transportation is available for all students residing within the boundaries of the Monona Grove School District.

The window for summer school transportation requests is open from March 25 through April 24, 2026. We recommend that families sign up for bus transportation and cancel if they do not need it.

Please note: signing up for transportation is a different process than signing up for summer school courses; one does not guarantee the other.

In order to more efficiently schedule any students who do not register within the March 25-April 10 timeframe, we must implement a summer school waitlist.  Specific course availability may be limited to students on the waitlist, so it is important that every effort be made to register during the March 25-April 10 window.
