Parent / Student Resources

The district is working on phasing in virtual learning for students and, as our teachers plan and prepare lessons, we want to begin by sharing some skill and practice resources in math and reading for students in K-8, as well as recommend that all students access choice reading materials and engage in some sort of daily physical activity.  There is no expectation that the math and reading activity packs be completed; we are simply sharing.

i-Ready Links - Math and reading activity packs are arranged by grade level K-8 and will provide additional skill practice for students while at home this week.  Available on the district website under Academics/Parent Student Learning Resources.

Choice Reading Materials - Access Epic (elementary) or OverDrive (secondary) for choice reading materials - 1000s of titles are available and students are sure to find something appealing.  Access on district website or each school’s library page.

Establishing a routine that includes physical activity is important during this time at home. We also want to encourage everyone to remember to move and be active, hopefully for 30 minutes a day.

At Home Technology Resources - Technology FAQ for using devices at home is on the district website under Academics/Parent Student Learning Resources.
