What is this Expedition?

          All students are given a choice of the classes they want to take in 8th grade.  An optional class is tech support.  During the music/tutorial time, 15 students per semester meet in the IMC to learn about computers, and apply their new knowledge to the school’s computer system.  They help teachers and students with any problems they have with their technological equipment, set up new computers, and create power-point and multimedia presentations for just about every occasion in which one is needed.

Projects and Fieldwork:

A)   Set up and repair computers and audiovisual equipment

B)   Use power-point and multimedia tools and assist with documentation of expeditions

C)   Use power-point to create multimedia journals

D) Assist in the documentation of Learning Expeditions by using Vegas Video and 
Acid Pro to produce multimedia presentations of the expeditions

Service:

A)   Serve the Winnequah school community with assistance in the use of technology

B)   Serve the Maywood community with assistance in the use of technology
