Nichols School, located on Nichols Road  in Monona, is an intermediate elementary building with third, fourth and fifth grades.  Approximately 250 students attend Nichols School, and usually we have four homerooms per grade level.  Before attending Nichols School, most of our students attend Maywood School just down Nichols Road for early childhood, pre-K, kindergarten, first and second grades.  Cottage Grove School is our partner in educating the district's third, fourth and fifth grade students.  When our students move on to sixth grade, they attend Winnequah Middle School along with the students from the Cottage Grove School.  Our school mascot is the "Eaglet" (our Monona Grove High School's mascot is the Silver Eagles).  Our building is shared with the district office staff.
