MINUTES:
Meeting of the Monona Grove Board of Education held Thursday, March 21,
2002, in the Nichols School, District Office Board Room, Starting at 5:00 P.M.

Discussion
and Possible Approval of Roofing Bids
Mr. Avery reviewed the roofing bids he had received
for roof replacement at Maywood School.
Mr. Kitslaar moved that the Board approve the roofing
bid submitted by Pioneer Roofing, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $363,316 for
roof replacement at Maywood School. Mr. Bland seconded and the motion carried.
IV.
Discussion
and Possible Approval of Construction Manager
Ms. Schumacher reviewed the interviews that were held
with three potential construction management firms.
Mr. Kitslaar moved that Bray Architects and J. P.
Cullen be hired to oversee the remodeling projects in the school district if the
referendum is successful. Ms.
Possin seconded and the motion carried.
V.
Motion to
Move into Closed Session Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes 19.85 (1)(c) for
Consideration of Personnel Issues and 19.85(1)(e) for Discussion of Bargaining
with Support Staff Employees – 5:18 P.M.
Ms.
Williams moved that the Board move into closed session pursuant to Wisconsin
Statutes 19.85 (1)(c) for consideration of personnel issues and 198.85(1)(e) for
discussion of bargaining with support staff employees.
Mr. Kitslaar seconded and the motion carried.
Roll Call Votes: all ayes.
