2002-2003 School Board Goals, Projects and Initiatives

 

 

1.       Meet with consulting firm representatives to discuss the process, timeline, expense, etc. (August, 2002) – School Board

2.       Approve the process, establish a timeline and begin planning. (September, 2002) – School Board

3.       Conduct “Future Search” process. (October – February, 2002-2003) – School Board

4.       Report findings to the Monona Grove communities. (March, 2003) – School Board

 

 

1.       Discuss “Policy Governance” and practice implementation throughout the school year.  (Ongoing, 2002-2003) – School Board

2.       Decide whether or not to pursue this model as a formal direction with associated training.  (May, 2003) – School Board

 

·         Complete curriculum and instruction reviews and program initiatives in the

following areas:     

 

Ø      Mathematics

Ø      Measures of Academic Progress

Ø      Social Studies

Ø      MGHS exam/graduation schedule

·         Explore the possibility of using the School District website for “e-business.”  Implement revisions if warranted.

·         Conduct an informal review of the failed referendum question on the MGHS

bleachers to determine next steps.

area, hazardous areas, and staggered start/end times.  Implement all approved policy changes.
