Rough Draft

  Traits to focus on:

2.  Organization

  Questions to ask yourself:

1. Do I have enough
information?

2. Where do I begin?

3. Where does my
beginning
lead me?

4. Have I covered all my
bases?

5. Is this a good place to
stop?

Step 3 and 4
Revising

Traits to focus on:

1.  Ideas

 

2.  Organization


3.  Voice

 

4.  Words

5.  Fluency

Questions to ask yourself:

1. Do I have the right information for this audience?

2. What can I cut out without hurting the whole paper?

3.  Is my opening a grabber?

4. Does the order of events make sense?

5. Do I have a closing?

6. Is it easy to read?

Step 5
Editing

Traits to focus on:                     

1.  Conventions

 

  Questions to ask yourself:

1. Is it error free?

2. Did I proof read more than once?

3. Did my peers edit my paper? 

Step 6
Publishing

Traits to focus on:

1.  All

Questions to ask yourself:

1. Is this my best work?

Step 7
Sharing

Traits to focus on:

1.  All

Questions to ask yourself:

1. Do I have good volume?

2. Do I have good body language?

3.  Do I have good eye contact?
