Who We Are
Who is the Monona Parent Teacher Organization? You are! Anyone with a child attending Winnequah School automatically belongs to PTO.
What We Do
Our children are fortunate to attend beloved neighborhood schools. Part of what makes Winnequah so special is the collaboration between parents and teachers, administrators and staff. PTO fosters these relationships in many ways:

We present social events to deepen ties to the schools and the community. These include the Kindergarten Ice Cream Social, Sock Hop, Walk to School Day and more.

We show our appreciation to our educators by supporting them during after-hour programming (such as parent-teacher conferences) and with special events (including back-to-school breakfasts and teacher appreciation week activities).

We fund valuable and enriching programs, materials, curricula and equipment. Teachers rely on annual PTO contributions such as National Geographic Magazine and Time for Kids. Children enjoy trips to Overture Center, sports equipment and playground climbing structures, all of which are examples of PTO support.

We assist families when necessary so that all students can participate in field trips and other school activities regardless of ability to pay.
