TerraCycle is a new fundraiser for our school. It's purpose is to elimnate the idea of waste. They do this by offering a recycling program for hard to recycle or previously non-recyclable items. Help us eliminate waste and earn money for our school. We are currently collecting the following items:
1. Empty drink pouches, such as Honest Kids and Capri Sun
2. Plastic diaper packaging waste, such as plastic packaging the diapers come in
3. Empty plastic lunch kits with cardboard removed, such as Lunchables
4. Empty personal care or beauty packaging
Please collect these items and drop them off in the labeled box in the main entrance at Winnequah School. There is also a collection bin in the school lunch room for students to dispose of items after lunch. If you have any questions please contact Julie Wendt at 608-957-6953.

Winnequah Garden
Spring has Sprung!
Students are growing seedlings in their classrooms and we need to get the school garden ready!
Garden work weekend Saturday, April 20th and Sunday, April 21st, 9:00AM
Skilled and unskilled labor needed! Children are welcome, but MUST be with an adult. Bring tools, spades, shovels & clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
We will be: *laying gravel *installing gutters for planting on trellis *cleaning out beds *digging sod *prepping and fencing in the Kindergarten Sunflower House *digging post holes for globe artwork *staining the front trellis *organizing & repairing the shed
