The PTO strives to organize activities that are of service to our schools and community.  We want to show our commitment and appreciation to teachers and staff members within our schools.  We also want to organize activities that support and enrich our children and families in Cottage Grove.  For more information, or to volunteer, please contact the PTO: cgrovepto@gmail.com

1. School Supply Kits: Back-to-School shopping is a breeze with these convenient kits packed with everything your child needs!  Kits are ordered in the spring and delivered at registration in August.
2. Six Flags Reading Program: We coordinate this annual reading program with Six Flags where kids can earn a free ticket to this popular theme park.
3. Student Directories: the PTO creates a listing of student names, addresses, and phone numbers.  Participation is voluntary and the booklets are a great resource.
4. Babysitting: We provide childcare during PTO meetings.
5. Welcome Back Luncheon: we provide a lunch for our teachers the end of August as they prepare for the school year.
6. Teacher Appreciation Brunch: we sponsor a brunch in the spring to thank our teachers for a wonderful year!
7. Teacher Conference Food: this committee provides meals for teachers during parent-teacher conference nights in November and March
8. Room Parents: the PTO coordinates the Room Parent sign-up process for each classroom during registration in August.
9. Family Fun Nights: the PTO sponsors a night of family entertainment in November and February.  Past performances have included scientists, magicians, and musicians.
