H G Wells War of the Worlds
Listen to the actual radio recording that terrified people in the early 1900's. Close your eyes as you listen to create images in your mind to help you understand what you hear. Do not try to understand everything you hear, but the overall picture. As you listen, you will hear music interrupted by bulletins saying that something is happening on Mars. How did this technique make the War of the Worlds believable to people in America during this time?
