Treasures Reading Program:  A balanced literacy approach that provides daily instruction in both whole group, and small groups.  In the whole group portion the students are introduced to all of the components of literacy.  These concepts and strategies are practiced and applied during the small group instruction portion where students read books at their individual reading levels.
