Wisconsin Honors Orchestra

 Middle Level Honors Orchestra

The Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA) hosts a middle level and high school level honors project every year.  Students in 6th - 8th grade can audition for one of three ensembles: band, choir and orchestra.  Auditions are held in the spring for all ensembles.  Students who are accepted are sent music that they are to prepare before rehearsals begin.  The middle school honors ensembles rehearse, then perform, during the annual Teacher Convention in October every year.  (Students will then be in 7th - 9th grades.)

For more information and specifics, see the WSMA website, listed on the Helpful Links page of this website.
