Mr. Carl Davick directs the Sizzling Strings, which is an orchestra made up of 7th and 8th grade orchestra musicians.  The Sizzling Strings rehearses on Fridays after school for about 1 hour each week.  There is always a break with snacks during every rehearsal.  Students take a tour of the elementary schools every December and also perform at East Towne Mall for holiday shoppers.  In the spring, Sizzling Strings performs at the annual Glacial Drumlin Talent Show.

More info will be coming about a Fiddling Class that will primarily be open to 5th and 6th grade strings players.  Fiddling class welcomes violins, violas, cellos and basses.  Students who play guitar or mandolin are also invited to join.
