The
Performing Arts Center at Monona Grove High School is a state of the
arts facility that is fit for many different performances,
presentations or meetings.
The auditorium seats 599 with plenty of handicap seating on each
side of the aisles. It has a large orchestra pit with the
availability to remove pit covers on the stage. A state-of-the-art
lighting system by Electronic Theater Controls and sound system by
Arrow Audio will enhance any production.
There are three dressing rooms, one fit with full size mirrors
behind the stage. Also located behind the stage is a scenery shop
with a large entrance door.
Outside
there is ample parking directly in front of the facility or in the
adjacent lot that serves the high school stadium. Additional parking
is available on the south side of the school.

Performing
Arts Center Facility Specifications
The Performing Arts Center opened in the
spring of 2000. It has a seating capacity of 599. The stage has a 50
by 20 foot proscenium with ample room in front of the main curtain.
There is plenty of wing space with a large removable orchestra pit
cover. The Performing Arts Center is equipped to handle a wide range
of performances.
The Performing Arts Center uses Electronic Theater Controls lighting
equipment including over 200 dimmers. Over the stage there are four
electronic batons for lighting, one slit over the house, side
lighting and two follow spot positions.
Our sound system consists of a 32 channel
EVI Audio DDA CS8, 6 wireless mics, 12 body mics, multiple
amplifiers, speaker clusters, 3 Crown floor mics, an Alesis 8
channel adapt, a Marantz CD recorder, Marantz fully independent
double cassette deck, Marantz CD player. The auditorium is also
equipped with a projection system and a 12 foot screen that can
accommodate power points or videos.
Behind the stage are three dressing rooms two of them with bathroom
and sinks, the other a larger room with full size mirrors. The
Performing Arts Center also has a large property storage room and a
good sized costume room. Across the hall from the stage is the music
wing which can be used as warm up rooms or for extra storage for
larger groups using the Performing Arts Center.
Outside the Performing Arts Center is a ticket booth that can
be utilized. We look forward to hosting your next meeting, concert,
