Welcome To Summer School 2013!
4 Week Session: Monday, June 17 – Friday, July 12
(No school July 4 or 5)
Information:
-
The Monona K-5 site will be located at Winnequah School. There will be four class times available between 8:20-11:50. There is a 10-minute mid morning recess. Students may bring a snack.
-
Bussing is not provided for K-5 students.
-
Children may sign up for as many consecutive classes as they would like to take, but due to large numbers of enrollments, the number of classes available may be limited.
-
Students may sign up for each class only once. Classes cannot be repeated during the same summer school session.
-
Supervision does not start before the first class, so please have students arrive right at the start of their first class. There is no supervision after classes dismiss at 11:50. Students must leave school grounds promptly.
-
All registration will be done online. Students who are referred for reading and mathematics will be pre-registered for all of their classes.
-
Students enrolling in only enrichment classes will register starting April 16 at 6:30 pm. Please use your child’s CURRENT GRADE when registering. Parents can register online from your own home computer. If you do not have computer access at home, you may register in the Taylor Prairie computer lab on April 16 from 6:30-7:30 pm. Remember that it is first come, first served for enrichment classes, and the spots fill quickly. If a student who is taking enrichment classes only is signed up before 6:30 p.m. on April 16, the student will be dropped from summer school.
-
We will use current emergency contacts (including hospital and physician) and health concerns that are in our current student data base system. Please make sure that information is up to date. If your child attends IHM or does not attend one of the MG schools, please email us to request a health form. It is your responsibility to make sure summer school staff has this information.
-
ALL FEES MUST BE PAID BY JUNE 17 OR YOUR CHILD WILL BE DROPPED FROM CLASSES. NO REFUNDS.
